## In short

This guide bundles four things beginners otherwise have to hunt down separately: a track video with braking points and the racing line for each of the 25 circuits, free hotlap videos whose setup is linked in the video description, six explained starting values for building your own setup, and the fundamentals videos on driving technique, race procedure, tyres and hardware.

Every embedded video was queried individually through the YouTube interface; the title and channel name come straight from there. Where a video has aged in part — usually because the in-game menus have changed — that is stated on the video. Videos only load once you click them, and then through youtube-nocookie.com, so nothing reaches YouTube before that.

## Common questions

### Where do I find free ACC setups?

There are very good free setups from creators such as Fri3d0lf (YouTube, a hotlap video with the setup download in the description, one playlist per car) and as a Steam guide with stable race setups for all cars and circuits. This guide links to both. We host no setup files ourselves.

### What values should I start a setup from?

Load the Safe preset the game ships with for that car, put the tyre pressures in the hot window of 26.5 to 27.0 psi, turn traction control and ABS up, move brake bias a little forward, work out fuel as laps times consumption plus one reserve lap — and leave dampers, differential and camber alone for now.

### Are the track videos still current?

Most of the track guides were recorded in 2021. Layout, braking points and the racing line are unchanged since; only the on-screen menus look different today. Where a video's figures or menus have aged, that is stated explicitly on the video.
