Where do I find my setup.json?

Documents\\Assetto Corsa Competizione\\Setups\\[Car]\\[Track]\\ — that is where ACC stores your setups. Load the file of the setup that is giving you trouble.

In short

Pro setups from the internet often feel undriveable to beginners. This tool reads your ACC setup file (setup.json), explains every value in plain language — including the tyre pressure conversion to psi — and, at the press of a button, produces a calmer, more forgiving version to download.

Only safe fields are toned down: more TC and ABS, more rear wing, brake bias forward, softer anti-roll bars, less differential preload. Springs, dampers and ride height are left untouched, because wrong values there can make a car worse. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

Common questions
Where do I find my ACC setup.json?

Under Documents\Assetto Corsa Competizione\Setups\[car]\[track]\. That is where ACC saves all your setups as .json files.

Why does ACC not show tyre pressure in psi?

The setup.json stores a raw value, not a real unit. The approximate psi value comes out of 20.3 + raw value × 0.1. This tool converts that automatically.

Is it safe to upload my setup file?

Nothing is uploaded. The file is read and processed purely locally in your browser — there is no server that ever sees it.

As of: Field structure & conversion checked July 2026 · Tyre pressure ≈ base value + raw value·0.1 psi. The base value is 20.3 psi for GT3, Porsche Cup and Lamborghini ST — but 17.0 psi for GT4, all GT2 (incl. Porsche 935), the BMW M2 CS Racing and the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo. Kunos does not document the file format; we read the conversion in the source code of two independent open-source ACC setup parsers (Race Element and acc-setup-diff), which arrive at the same values. It is therefore very likely correct, but not confirmed by the manufacturer — the number in the game is what counts.
We only touch safe fields (TC/ABS/wing/brake bias/ARBs/diff) — not springs/dampers/ride height, which could make a car worse. Runs entirely client-side, nothing is uploaded.
